That thing called werk

I received word from my local manager that I got the Tech Pubs manager position.

My other manager, the tech pubs manager, sent me an e-mail last week telling me he had good news for me and to keep the news to myself, that he will call me next week (which is this week) to talk about it. And I was like, "Huh?! You didn't even say what the news was about!" LOL But I knew what it was without him saying it.

Why am I going on and on about this?

Honestly, I don't know. I guess it's an update of sorts.

And sometimes when I give this more thought, I kind of get to thinking that maybe I'm not that ready?

But when I think that, the next thought that comes to mind is, "If I don't do this, who else can I trust to handle the team?"
